Inner Child Beaming

   My name is Laurie, I'm 47 yrs young. I live in Ohio with my husband of 25 years and our 5 children. Growing up, I was emotionally, physically, and mentally abused by many around me at home and at school. The remainder of my years were spent in a horrible deep depression with countless suicidal attempts. Although I grew up in a God fearing Catholic family, my soul was still searching for the REAL answers to life and what our purpose on earth is. I began exploring other religious denominations only to be dissapointed and more confused. Sadly, I left religion altogether, alone and more hopeless as ever. I thought my questions to life would never be answered.

  My epiphany and spiritual path began one spring day in May of 2006.  Something happened to me that would change my life forever. While horseback riding in the Mohican National Forest, a feeling of incredible and overwhelming inner peace came over me, it washed over me in waves. It was humbling and exhilirating at the same time. This feeling lasted not only throughout the rest of the ride, but for many days after. Thus began my search for this 'feeling' and the realization that there really IS something wonderful. Something not 'out there' but from within! I knew it was from God!

  While searching, I found like minded people like myself who also believe as I do that our thoughts are powerful and we can use them to create our own reality. That which you choose to focus on is the very thing you will create!  Negative thoughts bring in negative things/actions into your life and the same idea holds true for positive thoughts. Focusing only on the positive will manifest great and positive things in your life. I know which one I would like to focus on....

 I have actually witnessed this myself in my own life so I KNOW it works!  I belong to a center that teaches about God and these Universal Laws of Attraction. I furthered my studies by reading, 'The Secret', "The Celestine Prophesy" which talked about the Laws of Attraction. I explored further, the quantum physics theories by reading "What The Bleep Do We Know?"

  The farther along my path I got, the more things were being revealed to me. I learned from others that all my years of depression was really the gift of being an intuitive empathic and that anyone can change their own reality by changing their thoughts. For this reason, I have included self affirmations and a 10 minute  meditational video here on my website for you to view. By using these simple techniques, I was able to heal myself to the point that I no longer needed the use of anti depressant medications!! That alone is a miracle in itself to me. One of many miracles that I have encountered along the way.

  I have always had a strong urge to help people. Even as a young child, this was my passion. I felt called to be a healer, so I learned to practice Reiki and Theta Healing. While I was working on my first client, I began to receive messages for that person. The message didn't make sense to me, but when I shared them with her, she burst out crying! I was startled and amazed to learn that what I had told her was confirmed by her....I then realized to my utter astonishement that I had showed some signs of psychic abilities.

  While I used to consider my intuitive and empathic gift a curse, I realize now that it has actually become the GREATEST BLESSING for me as this has enabled me to help my clients even more because of my ability to 'tune' into them and I have become more compassionate and understanding towards others because of this.

  I have now taken healing to a higher level by including the healing and therapuetic benefits of massotherapy. I am currently earning an Associate's Degree at the National Institute of Massotherapy. Even in such a short time, I've been told that my therapuetic techniques have helped not only physical ailments of my clients but their emotional well being as well. They may come in stressed out and achy but leave totally relaxed, refreshed and with much less pain than when they came in and I am completely confident that I can do the same for YOU!

 Today I feel so complete and whole. I am content  in knowing that many of my questions on life have been answered, at least for me. Of course, I will always consider myself a 'forever student' continually learning from everyone I meet.

  It is my belief that even though we are all on different paths, we are still always connected, never seperated from each other and we all have knowledge to share with each other. I welcome all of you to share with me!

  It is now my greatest wish to help YOU along your own path, wherever that path may lead you. My desire is to share with you my gifts of healing with Reiki and massotherapy so that YOU TOO can be physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually complete and whole, the way God intended you to be!
